Vantage Point (2022) Site-specific Installation
I. Archival Pigment Print on Frame, II. Duratrans Print on Lightbox Frame, Two Channel Soun

"Vantage Point" is a site-specific installation that I created specifically for the "Young, Fresh, Different" exhibition at Zilberman Gallery. In this work, I use two photographs and a dual-channel sound piece that I shot as part of my "Along the River" project. My goal is to create an audio and visual replica of the river.

To take the audience back to the moments when I explored the river, I tried to create a walkable space by placing one of the photographs in the center of the room. While exploring the geography, I used the photo on the ground to show the river flowing beneath my feet, and the photo representing the landscapes that I encountered was placed at eye level. Additionally, I placed the dual-channel sound piece that I recorded during this walk in the center of the space, merging the sounds of the river and our footsteps. Through this, I designed an audio and visual space that the audience can understand and experience my perspective.
