Windows are places where we connect with our neighbors, breathe fresh air, smoke, and find relief by looking at the view. They also represent a gateway to the outside world in the perception of the individual, serving as a point of connection. Through this work, I reinterpret the functional and symbolic role of windows, transforming their significance into an experiential exploration of the relationship between interior and exterior.
In this context, I positioned a photograph, containing both a window and a view, within an actual window opening located in a public space. Presented inside an illuminated box, the photograph amplifies the sense of perspective it embodies, offering viewers a profound visual experience.
The work extends from the window opening into an infinite depth, enhanced with sound and light installations. By doing so, it creates a multisensory space—visual, auditory, and tactile—where viewers can experience both the physical and symbolic dimensions of the window.
