In the narrative spread across these three main parts, the artist creates new landscapes by presenting composite images that look at the river from different perspectives through collage works. These works begin with a collage combining mountain landscapes to create a new terrain across the river and continue by introducing the audience to aerial views of the river and sectional images of the region. These collages, created by manually cutting and combining photographs, provide viewers with the opportunity to experience the changing landscapes around the river.
The three-channel video installation shares the production process of these collage works with the audience. The video, using a time-lapse technique, highlights a performative approach by presenting the process of combining experiments conducted in the workshop with water and photographic prints. It offers a closer look at how the project took shape and how different materials came together, providing insight into the artist’s creative process.
The third part of the exhibition features an interactive workspace reminiscent of the workshop setup. Visitors have the opportunity to create their own landscapes using various materials such as projectors, plexiglass pools, glass, sound recordings, and photographic prints. This space encourages active audience participation, offering a collaborative experience that highlights the uniqueness of each individual’s perspective and focus.
The artist positions this work as part of a process-oriented exploration, extending the long-term journey that began with the river and evolved through the theme of water, while seeking new narrative possibilities within their practice. This project prioritizes the process over the final outcome.
